Delivery Installation
Nothing in this folder moves stock or posts to the ledger: the stock and the journal come from the sales invoice, whichever delivery screen you use (what each sales document writes). And a sales invoice reads Fully Delivered from the moment its job is put on a trip, before the van has left the yard; arrival is the job’s own Complete status and its events. This section is for whoever gets sold goods to the customer’s door — the dispatcher planning the vans, the driver on a phone, and the office that has to answer “has it arrived?”.
Start here. A branch with a dispatch desk runs order, Send To Queue, job, trip, driver — open Delivery Installation. A branch that only needs a date and a van on the document uses the document’s Delivery Details panel and needs nothing in this folder. Whose screen it is, and what it writes
Two of these screens live in this folder; the rest are in Sales Workflow, Inventory Workflow and Purchase Workflow. None of them moves stock.
