The settings that reach you, the ones that stop at the company, and one that reaches nothing

You will recognise a silence rather than a failure.

  1. The e-mail is sent anyway — on time
  2. To the right customer
  3. With no attachment
  4. No error raised anywhere

Step 3 — Accept the two things your branch cannot restyle

You will stop trying.

What this step names
  1. Its layout comes from the company
  2. From a template built into the platform
  3. Your branch's default is never consulted

The setting that reaches nothing

Step 4 — Stop asking for a branch timezone

You will not lose time on it.

What this step names
  1. It saves
  2. It shows what you typed
  3. Nothing in the platform ever reads it back

Step 5 — Know the branch switch that really does reach everything

You will treat one tick box with the respect it deserves.

What this step names
  1. Skip E-Invoice on your branch record is read at the moment any…
  2. A document is excluded from e-Invoicing if its own flag
  3. Your branch's flag
  4. The customer's flag is set

When a shop stops trading

Step 6 — Know what happens to your shop when it closes

You will ask for the right thing when a branch shuts.

What this step names
  1. A branch is closed
  2. Not deleted: closing takes it out of the pickers and leaves every…
  3. Every stock movement
  4. Every report line it ever carried exactly where they are
