How you will know: three records, and the check before you void a cash bill

You can read the outcome of any cancellation off the request, the queue row and the e-invoice record without asking anyone…

Reading the outcome

Step 1 — Read the three records in order

You will answer did it go through in under a minute.

  • Read them in that order, request, queue, record…

Internal Submission → To IRB E-Invoice filtered to one document, the status column reading Cancelled beside the request's Cancelled status

Step 2 — Remember that the record is BigLedger's copy of LHDN's answer

You will know when the copy is fresh and when it is not.

Step 3 — Know what the document looks like after each logic

You will not be surprised by the document.

Before you void

Step 4 — Know that a cash bill can still be voided after its e-invoice is Valid

You will stop relying on a refusal that mostly does not fire.

Step 5 — Cancel first, then void, and know what the void does to the e-invoice side

Step 6 — Run the thirty-second check

You will close every cancellation the same way.

  • Open the e-invoice on To IRB E-Invoice…
  • Open Cancellation, then Rejection Requests: the request reads completed and approved…
  • Open the sales document: Void with your reason if you chose void original document…
